
Healthy Breakfast Ragi Uttapam Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup ragi flour
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped tomato
- 1/4 cup grated carrot
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 green chilli, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
- Oil for cooking
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, add ragi flour, rice flour, onion, tomato, carrot, coriander leaves, ginger, green chilli, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually, add water and mix until you get a smooth batter of pouring consistency.
- Heat a non-stick tawa or griddle on medium heat.
- Pour a ladleful of batter on the tawa and spread it into a circular shape.
- Add a few drops of oil around the edges and cook until the bottom turns golden brown.
- Flip the uttapam and cook the other side until it turns golden brown as well.
- Repeat the process with the remaining batter and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
