Morrisons Unveils Its Christmas Sandwich Range: Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Croissant

Among the new additions is the Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Croissant, a creative 'glow-up' of a classic buttery breakfast favorite, packed with protein, potassium, and omega-3 for a healthy and indulgent start to the day.

A Wide Range of Festive Sandwiches, Vegetarian and Vegan Options

The Christmas sandwich range features ten festive options, including the popular Morrisons Pigs Under Blankets with Gravy Mayo Sandwich and customer-favorites such as the Morrisons Brie and Cranberry Sandwich, Vegan No Turkey and Stuffing Sandwich, and The Best Xmas Cheeseboard Sandwich. Prices range from £2.85 to £3.50, with the sandwiches available in both the core £4 meal deal and the £4.50 The Best meal deal. In addition, 5% of sales from select sandwiches will be donated to the charity partner Together for Short Lives.

Ingredients:

  • Puff Pastry
  • Nutella
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and spread Nutella on the surface.
  3. Roll the dough tightly from one end to another and let it rest in the fridge for ten minutes.
  4. After ten minutes, cut the roll into slices approximately 1 cm thick.
  5. Whisk the egg and milk together to make egg wash.
  6. Brush each slice with the egg wash and place them in the air fryer basket.
  7. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
