
Breakfast Burritos for Cowboys
This breakfast burrito recipe is perfect for cowboys who have to wake up early for work. It's a hearty meal that's easy to make and will keep you full until lunchtime.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of sausage, sliced
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 4 large tortillas
- Optional toppings: sour cream, green onions, hot sauce
Directions:
- Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat.
- While the sausage is cooking, shred the cheese.
- Once the sausage is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set it aside.
- Place a tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle a generous amount of cheese on top.
- Add some of the cooked sausage on top of the cheese.
- Roll up the tortilla and repeat with the remaining tortillas.
- If desired, heat the burritos in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
- Top with sour cream, green onions, or hot sauce, if desired.
Note: This recipe can be made a day ahead of time by preparing the sausage and cheese the night before. This will save you time in the morning and give you more time to sleep!
