Pancakes with Syrup and Butter

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Syrup and butter, for serving
Directions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter will be slightly lumpy.
- Heat a griddle or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Ladle the pancake batter onto the griddle or skillet, using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.
- Cook the pancakes until bubbly on top and golden brown on the bottom, about 2-3 minutes. Flip the pancakes and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 1-2 minutes longer.
- Serve the pancakes with syrup and butter on top.
