Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Syrup and butter, for serving

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter will be slightly lumpy.
  4. Heat a griddle or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Ladle the pancake batter onto the griddle or skillet, using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.
