Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
