Almond Flour Keto Filo Pastry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup warm water

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg, melted butter, vinegar and warm water together.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until the dough comes together.
  5. Divide the dough into four, roll out each section thinly and brush with melted butter.
  6. Fold each piece of dough into thirds, brush with more butter and then fold in half again.
  7. Place the pastry onto the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Use in your favorite keto pastry recipes or enjoy as a snack on its own.
