I love this post, and the idea of the jam. I tried it today- twice- and while the cold plate/skin test didn't ever work, I am hopeful that the jam actually did set up. Most of the jars popped so that is a good sign, and it tasted divine (as I was forced to try it. multiple times.).
Tomorrow I will turn the jars over and see if it is still thin- crossing my fingers it isn't!
